    Agree on the decision.

    Mick and the client agree on the decision and scope in writing before work begins.

  2. 02

    Survey the field and be fair.

    Mick checks material claims against their sources. The proposal, doing nothing and at least one alternative are compared using the same criteria.

  3. 03

    Explain the judgment.

    The written recommendation explains the evidence, what remains unresolved and who must resolve it. Different options may call for GO, MODIFY or STOP in the same review.

The fee stays the same, whichever way the answer goes. Mick accepts no referral or success fee from anyone on the engagement. Implementation is quoted separately after the recommendation. You choose who performs it.
